Have you ever heard the expression "A wall is a soccer player's best friend?" Knowing how to utilize a wall properly helps soccer players to progress in their basic soccer skills training program much faster than otherwise. We're talking about a soccer training partner that enables you to increase your speed training and to be there and ready to return the ball to you. A soccer player with proper training program technique against a wall will progress two to three times faster than a player without this technique. A wall is a soccer player's best friend and every player should know how to work with their best friend. That's where our wall work soccer training program comes in.
Unfortunately ten years ago, I didn't find much in the way of guidance. Even today, the instruction a youth player receives in soccer training is minimal. Players must figure out on their own why the wall is their best friend. It's time wasted for soccer players to figure out basic soccer skills they can train against a wall. During my first days using a wall, I wasted time on just a few kicks. It took me years to hone my soccer training technique and skills. My wall technique helped me wherever I played. Whether I was in Costa Rica or Finland, all I needed was a wall to work on weaknesses and improve strengths. For devoted players, it is the only option when training partners are not available and situations are limited.
